We are pleased to announce that STAR Procurement won the Connected Procurement and Commissioning Innovation Award at the I-Network Awards last night. The award submission was for STAR’s Flexible Purchasing System (FPS) Learning Disability (LD) and Autism. This is a ground breaking procurement initiative that provides 10 localities Health and Social Care organisations an efficient ‘one-way’ approach to procure these services across Greater Manchester. This innovative project brings together differing partners into one approach; has a person-centred, and has outcome-focused packages to supporting people with LD and Autism to be independent at home, learn new skills and connect with others.
