Join STAR Procurement in our forthcoming Meet the Buyer Event!

STAR Procurement is the award-winning Procurement shared service for Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside, and Trafford Councils. We value the importance of meeting with suppliers and providers in our local area and would like to extend an invitation to you to come and meet us face-to-face at our Meet the Buyer event.

The event gives you unprecedented access and a great opportunity to meet buyers, commissioners, other contractors, and key decision makers. It will be held on Thursday 24 November 2022 at Hyde Town Hall, Tameside.

Attendance will allow you to network and build your knowledge in public sector procurement and you’ll have the chance to learn what opportunities are coming up in our contracts pipeline, attend Masterclasses, introduce yourself and your organisation to key contacts and much more!

We will be hosting seminars and workshops sharing our knowledge and experience of how to bid for tenders and projects and we will offer time for Q&A’s. The workshops will include a range of topics suitable for those who have never worked with the public sector before all the way through to those who frequently work with us. There will be hands on support available including how to create your account on our systems, so you have access to bid for our opportunities.

Unique this year is the opportunity to attend the workshops on Social Value. This will be an enabler for you to improve your bids for tenders and know the specifics of what is required for each of our Councils, as well as the opportunity for you to share your thoughts and ideas.

There will also be a number of online workshops throughout the week leading up to the event – watch this space for more information!

STAR’s Meet the Buyer event is aimed to all business’s micro, small, and medium across our four boroughs and the wider Greater Manchester area.
